Your role as IT System Engineer
As an IT System Engineer at IRENT, you are the expert behind the scenes who ensures that all our systems are in top shape before they go to the customer. Your daily work revolves around assembling, configuring, and testing servers, storage, and network systems. Additionally, you are an important point of contact for customers, both remotely and on-site. Together with your colleagues in the Operations team, you ensure that all orders are executed flawlessly and that the customer receives exactly what they need.

What will you do as an IT System Engineer?

• Assemble orders according to configuration.
• Install orders according to configuration.
• Test orders and report technical information.
• Update software and firmware.
• Deassemble systems after the rental period ends.
• Register your activities in our IT tools.
• Provide support for our service contracts, both remotely and on-site.
• Implement IT solutions based on consultations.
• Actively contribute to maintaining and expanding our knowledge base.
• Keep your IT knowledge up to date through internal and external training.

Who are you?

• You have proven experience with Enterprise IT hardware.
• You are proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP and ITSM tools.
• You are skilled with the command-line interface (CLI).
• You have strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
• You are proactive, detail-oriented, and organized.
